About the Opportunity:

The Medical Records Processing Specialist role is critical in handling medical record requests accurately and promptly. This position supports the organization’s mission by ensuring timely processing of records within assigned accounts, maintaining confidentiality, and contributing to a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The role directly impacts the delivery of health information and supports operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Process medical record requests within 24-48 hours for assigned accounts
• Manage high volume and fast-paced workflow
• Assist with overflow processing during high volume or coverage shortages
• Monitor incoming requests received through various channels
• Maintain confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA
• Provide feedback on request volume and potential issues
• Perform general office duties as needed
