General Summary:

Provide a wide variety of sales, service and administrative support for the producer and consumer industry and management staff of the Medicare & Individual Sales Department.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a sales/service coordinator for the Medicare & Individual Sales Department.
  • Process enrollments for both Medicare & Individual Sales.
  • Assist external agents with certification inquiries, enrollment platform access as well as material ordering platform.
  • Assist with and manage special projects, spreadsheets, and presentations for the Medicare & Individual Sales department.
  • Provide customer service for the producer community by responding to their inquiries and requests (manage phone queue and email box for external agents).
  • Perform administrative functions including, but not limited to, preparing PowerPoint presentations, conducting Excel audits, data entry, prepare and update desk level procedures; and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Collect data to prepare monthly production report regarding various metrics on the Medicare & Individual Sales department.
  • Verify and calculate departmental incentives for the Medicare & Individual internal staff.
  • Consolidate and distribute various delinquency, age-in/age-off reports for outreach to be performed.
  • Work closely with management staff to provide training, develop and implement new policies and procedures within the organization and producer community.
  • Collaborate with other departments including, but not limited to Enrollment & Billing, Provider Relations and Customer Service, to assure membership growth and retention as well as the resolution and tracking of enrollment and customer service issues.

Education/Certifications Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • Life and Accident & Health License preferred

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with a health insurance pre-sales carrier
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in employee and producer incentive programs

  • Ability to collect and organize material for reports
  • Ability to be discreet with confidential material
  • Pleasant telephone skills and a non-abrasive but confident attitude in dealing with management and professional staff, support staff and producer industry
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Considerable knowledge of new business sales, service and implementation procedures
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, IKA, Pega, Facets, MARX, CHAMPS,
