PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

As far as projects go, from fintech to transport solutions, we work together with the world's top companies.

You will join our Managed Services team in Iasi, delivering reliable, secure, scalable and cost-aware AWS environments for customers across industries.

You will explore varied architectures and technical challenges, with occasional Professional Services opportunities in migrations, modernization, automation and cloud transformation.

THE ROLE INVOLVES:

• Design, deploy, operate and improve AWS environments for reliability, security, scalability and cost efficiency across varied services and architectures.

• Build, maintain and improve reusable IaC modules; apply agreed standards and manage state and environments; contribute to drift management and policy-as-code integration.

• Automate deployments, platform operations, remediation and repetitive tasks using Python, Bash, APIs and event-driven approaches.

• Support MSP operations as an escalation point, including monitoring setup, critical incident handling and runbook validation. Participate in on-call rotations for critical outages, covering timely response, escalation handling, customer communication and post-incident improvement.

• Contribute to monitoring, SLOs/SLIs, alert tuning, RCA/post-mortems and operational maturity; collaborate with developers, customer engineers, stakeholders and internal teams to align platform decisions with delivery, reliability, security and FinOps goals.

TECHNICAL PLAYGROUND:

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud/Platform Engineering, MSP Operations or SRE.

• Strong hands-on AWS experience using IaC, with tooling such as Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK or similar.

• Experience building reusable IaC modules, applying agreed standards and managing state and environments; contribute to drift management and policy-as-code integration.

• CI/CD experience with AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or similar; proficiency in Python or Bash for automation, operational tooling and remediation.

• Linux administration and troubleshooting of service failures, performance, logs, processes, networking and OS-level automation.

• Solid networking and security knowledge: VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, DNS, firewalls, identity, segmentation and zero-trust patterns.

• Openness to responsible AI-assisted development and operations.

• Stay composed during critical incidents, coordinate technical investigations, balance restoration with long-term remediation and contribute to high-quality post-mortem learning.

NICE TO HAVE:

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Solutions Architect or AWS SysOps Administrator certification.

• University degree in Computer Science/Engineering.

• Familiarity with containers and orchestration platforms such as ECS, Kubernetes or OpenShift, including deployment, scaling and multi-cluster operations; serverless deployment and debugging (AWS Lambda, API Gateway).

• Database reliability and operations (managed databases, backup/recovery, HA, RPO/RTO alignment, performance optimization and lifecycle).

• Understanding of FinOps cost governance, optimization opportunities, dashboards and cost-aware architecture decisions.

• Knowledge of AWS security, IAM, governance, compliance and secure operations.

SOFT SKILLS:

• Fluent English, both written and verbal.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Operational ownership and urgency in triaging, investigating and resolving complex production issues, with clear incident communication.

• Analytical troubleshooting across infrastructure, applications, networking and platforms; sound decisions balancing customer impact, risk and long-term reliability.

• Proactively drives automation, standardization and continuous improvement for operational efficiency and service quality.

• Adapt across customers, technologies, domains and priorities; enjoy continuous learning, varied technical challenges and knowledge sharing, with a positive can-do mindset focused on engineering excellence and customer success.
