Due to new business growth, this Account Manager level role is now available for a Melbourne-based PR talent with an interest in retail, lifestyle, home & pet products. This full-service agency boosts a supportive, welcoming, warm culture and WFH flex.


If you're an experienced PR Senior Account Executive, or newly-appointed Account Manager with digital knowledge (social) we want you!!!


The Opportunity:


  • Supporting and working closely with the Head of PR, your primary role will be to assist and manage key client accounts
  • Assist in driving public relations and managing social media platforms for key client accounts
  • Support the PR leadership team
  • Assist in driving organic and new business development
  • Assist in driving new client accounts and media relationships while strengthening existing ones across the (wider) business departments
  • Assist the Head or PR to create, develop and implement strategic business plans for the company and key client accounts
  • Work closely with leadership, content and marketing teams from the parent company
  • Liaise with key national media on a daily basis


You:


  • Live in Melbourne and have full working rights
  • Have 3+ years of experience in the PR and communications industry (agency preferred)
  • Have impeccable attention to detail and written communication skills
  • Are an exceptional public relations practitioner with plenty of digital knowledge and experience
  • Are highly organised and driven!
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic planning is preferred
  • Would describe yourself as a well-connected PR professional who thrives on maintaining and developing relationships
  • Have a solid and relevant media database (national)
  • Are highly motivated and can take initiative
  • Are eager to build business in a growing and exciting space!
