Member Financial Solutions Specialist

About the Role
Our client is seeking a Member Financial Solutions Specialist to assist members with delinquent consumer loan and credit card accounts while providing exceptional customer service and financial guidance. This role focuses on helping members identify payment solutions, resolve past due accounts, and maintain financial stability while ensuring compliance with all federal regulations and company policies.
This is a fast-paced, call center environment ideal for individuals who thrive in customer-facing roles, enjoy problem solving, and are motivated by performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact members regarding delinquent consumer loan and credit card accounts.
- Review financial situations and recommend appropriate repayment and loss mitigation options.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and educate members on available financial solutions.
- Document account activity, payment plans, and member interactions accurately.
- Provide empathetic and professional service while de-escalating difficult situations.
- Utilize multiple systems and applications to manage accounts and track member activity.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state consumer protection regulations.
- Meet productivity and quality expectations in a high-volume call environment.
- Handle both inbound and outbound member interactions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, collections, retail sales, banking, or call center environments preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to think critically and identify creative solutions based on member needs.
- Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment with daily call volume goals.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.

This is a Contract position based out of Winchester, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.95 - $18.95/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
