Mendix Developer – Rotterdam

Permanent position | Hybrid | Base salary up to €5,700 per month

Would you like to use your low-code expertise to build applications with real social impact? We are recruiting a motivated Mendix Developer for an international scale-up focused on sustainability and ESG.

You will join a close-knit, international team responsible for developing, improving and maintaining innovative applications.

Your role

Working closely with customers and partners, you will translate complex business requirements into high-quality, scalable technical solutions. Your projects will range from developing a core ESG platform and implementing tailored app templates to building custom applications with advanced AI integrations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, optimising and maintaining Mendix applications.
• Translating customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Implementing reusable app templates and customer-specific functionality.
• Building integrations, including AI capabilities.
• Taking ownership of customer projects and internal improvement initiatives.
• Contributing to the ongoing development of the platform and development processes.

You will have the opportunity to grow into a leading role within customer projects.

Your profile

• At least 2–3 years of demonstrable Mendix development experience, preferably in IT consultancy or a customer-facing role.
• Mendix Advanced Certification is mandatory. Expert Certification is a strong advantage.
• A proactive approach and the ambition to take ownership of projects.
• Excellent English communication skills at C1 level or above. Dutch is not required.
• The ability to thrive in a dynamic, growing scale-up environment.
• A strong interest in sustainability and ESG. Experience in this field or with AI integrations in Mendix is a plus.
