About This Role

Mental health counselors work with individuals, couples, and groups to address emotional and psychological challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and substance use. Between sessions they write detailed notes, update treatment plans, and coordinate with other providers such as psychiatrists or social workers when a client needs additional support.
