Role Description The Mental Health Therapist is a part-time, remote role providing online counseling and support to clients across diverse backgrounds and locations. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting individual, couple, or family therapy sessions, completing assessments, and developing personalized treatment plans. The therapist will monitor client progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with professional and organizational standards. The role also involves collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals when appropriate, participating in case consultations, and contributing to wellness initiatives and programs offered through the platform. This position requires adherence to ethical guidelines, safeguarding client confidentiality, and using digital tools to deliver effective, client-centered care.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Mental Health and Social Work to support diverse client needs in an online setting.
- Strong skills in Treatment Planning and Case Management to design, implement, and track tailored interventions.
- Experience in Family Therapy and related systemic approaches to address relationship and family-based challenges.
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
- Active, unrestricted professional license or registration (as required by local regulations) to provide mental health services.
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms, digital documentation, and remote care best practices.
- Strong communication, empathy, and cultural humility, with the ability to work with clients from varied backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently, manage a part-time caseload, and maintain professional boundaries in a remote environment.
- Experience with evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care) is highly beneficial.
