Merchandise Allocator

This administration-heavy and fast paced role is based at our Marrickville head office and will see you report to the Senior Merchandise Planner.

What you will do

• Maintaining optimal stock and SKU levels in retail stores
• Actioning stock movements, transfers and markdowns as well as investigating stock discrepancies
• Allocating opening and replenishment stock orders
• Size curve analysis
• Preparing and actioning retail store stocktakes
• Actioning decisions around stock allocation and stock mix
• Communicating and working with retail stores as well as other head office departments including Warehouse, Marketing, Product and Production
• Visiting retail stores and promoting an open and receptive culture between the retail team and Merchandise department
• Weekly and ad hoc running of reports

About you

• A minimum of 1 - 2 years experience in a similar role
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
• Competent Microsoft Excel skills to manipulate data and handle spreadsheets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to work with retail stores and other internal departments
• The ability to handle a busy and fast paced work environment and multi-task
• An enthusiastic and positive attitude with a genuine love for fashion
• Experience in Apparel 21 is an advantage but not essential
• Knowledge and experience in the fashion footwear industry is preferred but not necessary
