META ADS SPECIALIST — POSITION OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a skilled, strategic Meta Ads Specialist (Media Buyer) to own paid social performance for our contractor client base. You’ll be responsible for both the strategy driving our Facebook and Instagram campaigns and the hands-on execution that makes them convert — generating qualified inbound leads for land clearing, excavation, and related service businesses.
This is not a pure execution role. You’ll bring a strategic perspective to audience targeting, creative direction, funnel structure, and account-level performance — while also maintaining the high execution standards our clients expect. You’ll work within our established launch SOPs as a foundation and be expected to help evolve them over time.
WHAT WE OFFER
Pay Rate: $12-$17 USD hourly
Paid Time Off (PTO): 10 days (80 hours) per year, prorated first year
Paid Holidays: 9 paid holidays per year
Location: Remote – Flexible work environment
Position Type: Full-Time
Hours: Estimated 40 hours/week
Growth and advancement opportunities
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Strategy & Department Ownership
- Campaign Strategy: Develop and refine our overall Meta Ads approach — including funnel structure, audience strategy, creative direction, and offer positioning — to maximize lead quality and volume across all client accounts.
- Creative Strategy: Partner with our creative team to brief ad concepts, identify winning angles, and guide the development of assets that perform — not just look good.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in our current launch SOPs and workflows, recommend improvements, and help build a scalable system for managing a growing client portfolio.
- Performance Analysis: Regularly analyze account-level and portfolio-level trends to surface insights and make strategic recommendations to leadership and Account Managers.
Pre-Launch Quality Review
- Copy Quality Check: Review all ad copy for accuracy — verify client name spelling, service area cities/regions, tracking phone numbers, and CTA consistency before anything goes live.
- Visual Asset Review: Confirm images and videos meet Meta specs, check for pixelation, verify logo clarity, and preview all creative on mobile before launch.
- Offer Verification: Confirm all promotions, pricing, and service descriptions match client documentation before going live.
Campaign Build & Setup
- Account & Campaign Setup: Verify you’re in the correct ad account, set the correct campaign objective, and follow our internal naming standards.
- Audience Targeting: Build geographic targeting to match client service areas, apply demographic filters aligned with ideal customer profiles, and configure exclusion audiences.
- Budget & Scheduling: Set daily/lifetime budgets per client approval, configure correct start/end dates, and align bid strategy with the client agreement.
- Tracking Setup: Confirm lead data is flowing correctly into WhatConverts and GoHighLevel (GHL) before launch.
Three-Point Quality Gate (Required Before Every Launch)
- Self Review: You personally verify every checklist item before submission.
- Peer Review: A team member reviews the campaign preview.
- Manager Approval: Submit the final ad creative to your Manager for sign-off via ClickUp.
Launch Monitoring & Ongoing Optimization
- Post-Launch Monitoring: Monitor the initial hours after launch for delivery issues, disapprovals, or policy flags; verify ads are spending as expected.
- Performance Tracking: Review key campaign metrics regularly and flag anything outside expected ranges to the Account Manager.
- Daily & Monthly Audits: Conduct daily performance checks on active campaigns; run full monthly account audits.
Error Protocols
- Post-Launch Errors: Pause the ad immediately, document the error and its impact, notify your manager quickly, create a corrected version, and file an incident report in the client file.
- Client-Reported Errors: Acknowledge promptly, pause affected ads, and provide a corrected timeline to the Account Manager.
