Meta, Instagram, Tiktok Comment Moderator

Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Meta, Instagram, and TikTok Comment Moderator at Otto AI. The Comment Moderator will review, filter, and respond to user comments across social channels, ensuring interactions align with brand guidelines, community standards, and platform policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring real-time comment activity, identifying and escalating sensitive or high-risk content, and maintaining a positive, inclusive environment in comment sections. The role also involves tagging and categorizing comments for insights, reporting recurring user issues or feedback, and collaborating with marketing and support teams to refine moderation guidelines. Moderators are expected to follow documented workflows, use moderation tools effectively, and maintain consistent quality and tone across all platforms.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in social media moderation or community management, ideally across platforms like Meta, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Strong written communication skills in en_US, with the ability to respond clearly, professionally, and in a brand-aligned tone.
• Familiarity with social media policies, content standards, and best practices for handling sensitive, offensive, or spam content.
• Ability to follow structured workflows, apply judgment consistently, and escalate complex situations when appropriate.
• High attention to detail, reliability in meeting response time expectations, and capacity to work independently in a remote setting.
• Interest in AI, technology, or digital products, with a willingness to learn about Otto AI’s platform and user base.
• Previous experience in customer support, online communities, or digital marketing is beneficial.
