Role Summary:
Summary of Role Description
Business Development Manager is responsible for targeting and closing new customers, building customer relationships and driving new business by leveraging all of USAT services. This individual will act as a business consultant to establish credibility with prospects and present logical economically beneficial solutions.
Principal Responsibilities:

- Generate new business via direct sales; prospecting and following up on leads
- Mange customer interactions including fostering relationships, making customer calls and closing new business.
- Participation in face-to-face client meeting independently. Partner with account managers, regional managers and other branches.
- Collaborate with Regional Managers to ensure alignment with branch/division strategies in forecasting, business planning and pipeline development
- Have continuous engagement with customer to maintain close relationships and ensure ongoing success with accounts.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 1-2 years of sales experience (transportation sales preferred).
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of the transportation industry and familiarity with industry leaders and competitors is preferred.
