SUMMARY: The Manager, IT Site Reliability Engineer, is responsible for leading and managing a team of Site Reliability Engineers who design, operate, and support the infrastructure services that host the Firm’s applications and technologies. This role is accountable for service reliability outcomes, operational excellence, and alignment to enterprise technology strategy, ensuring the team delivers reliable, scalable, and secure services in support of business objectives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Lead and oversee the use of infrastructure ‑ as ‑ code and automation practices to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of infrastructure technologies and cloud ‑ based applications. · Establish standards and accountability for observability, monitoring, and automated remediation capabilities to ensure service ‑ level objectives are defined, achieved, and continuously improved. · Provide managerial oversight and guidance, serving as an escalation point and advisor to ensure infrastructure solutions meet enterprise requirements. · Review, approve, and ensure the quality of technical documentation produced by the team (e.g., Technical Requirements, Technical Designs, Procurement Specifications, Technical Flow Charts, Implementation Plans). · Oversee implementation planning activities, ensuring appropriate resourcing, sequencing, risk mitigation, and alignment with operational and strategic priorities. · Review and approve Technical Impact Analyses, ensuring technical, operational, and business impacts are fully evaluated and addressed. · Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to multiple skill levels within the Site Reliability Engineering career path and support operational teams. · Accountable for the delivery and outcomes on large, complex projects and programs by managing and guiding Lead Site Reliability Engineers and project leads. · Serve as a technical and operational advisor to Solutions Architecture, partnering to ensure required technical deliverables, dependencies, and work efforts are appropriately identified and coordinated. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Yes Qualifications KEY SUCCESS INDICATORS/ATTRIBUTES: · Apply strong analytical, problem solving and attention to detail skills. · Assess and guide adoption of new technologies, · Ensure effective and appropriate use of assigned technologies. · Demonstrate people leadership and interpersonal skills, including coaching, influencing and resolving conflict across diverse technical teams. · Communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear priorities, risks, and outcomes. · Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies. · Drive accountability for goals, performance, and delivery through others, ensuring commitments are met across competing priorities. · Set priorities and allocate resources effectively in a fast ‑ paced, changing environment with multiple concurrent demands. · Demonstrate commitment to and reinforcement of the Firm’s Core Values, embedding them into team culture, decision ‑ making, and performance expectations. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline and 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in infrastructure, reliability, or platform engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. · Proficient knowledge and in-depth understanding of how business and technical processes integrate are required. · Proven experience with many of the tools listed including but not limited to the following: Azure Cloud, AWS Cloud, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, Git, VMware, Windows, Linux, Kubernetes, SQL, etc. · Familiarity with System Development Life Cycle processes is required. CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES: · Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Terraform Associate, Red Hat Certified Specialist, or similar. · ITIL and/or MOF best practices certifications a plus TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Kforce is an equal opportunity employer that has veterans and disabled affirmative action programs. :
