SUMMARY:

The Manager of Cloud Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, deployment, and management of cloud-based infrastructure and services. This role ensures the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud environments while aligning with business goals and IT strategies. The manager leads a team of cloud engineers and collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud operations and costs.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate will be responsible for Managing a team of cloud engineers, developing and implementing cloud strategies, and ensuring the successful execution of cloud projects

Leadership: Manages the Cloud Services team, assigns team personnel to projects, and directs and monitors their activities; ensures that standard operating procedures and system documentation are developed and maintained so that uptime and utilization of IT resources is maximized. Provide leadership and mentorship to cloud engineering staff. Drives timely delivery of projects and tasks.

Cloud Strategy: Develop and implement cloud strategies that align with organizational goals and drive business value.

Architecture Design: Oversee and review the architecture of complex cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

Optimization: Continuously optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.

Innovation: Stay current with the latest cloud technologies and trends, driving innovation within the organization.

Project Management: Manage cloud projects of various scales, coordinating with various teams to ensure successful implementation.

Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architecture, processes, and best practices, and disaster recovery plans for cloud environments.

Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance with security policies, data protection regulations, and industry standards.

Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or related work experience in lieu of degree.

A General certification in one of the major cloud platforms is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

10+ years of experience required, with a preference toward large enterprise environments. Health care experience is a plus. Experience as a Cloud Engineer, with a focus on leadership and advanced-level responsibilities. General understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Technical Skills: Must have a general understanding of cloud architecture, automation tools, and security best practices.

Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervisory responsibility for up to 15 FTEs

Pay Range:

$115,793.60-$191,048.00
