Position Summary
The Manager, Testing COE leads the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of the testing function across the QNXT Medicaid department. This role is responsible for building team capability, strengthening quality and governance practices, improving turnaround time and defect performance, and ensuring testing operations scale effectively with business needs as the QNXT Medicaid department expands. The role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize work, remove execution barriers, and deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day testing operations across assigned functions, workflows, or lines of business
Manage, coach, and develop testing leaders and team members to strengthen performance, accountability, and career growth
Establish clear testing priorities, resource allocation, and workload management to support service, quality, and timeliness goals
Monitor and drive performance against key operational metrics such as turnaround time, quality results, defect leakage, rework, and productivity
Identify process gaps and lead continuous improvement efforts that increase efficiency, standardization, and quality of Medicaid Operations
Partner with cross-functional teams to support QNXT-related implementations, operational readiness, issue resolution, and ongoing process optimization
Strengthen documentation, audit readiness, and governance practices across testing activities
Create visibility into team performance, risks, and capacity through clear reporting and stakeholder communication
Build team capability in tools, workflows, emerging process improvements, and system-dependent operational support, including automation or AI-supported opportunities where appropriate
Support a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high standards while balancing operational demands with team development
Required Qualifications
5+ years of leadership experience in testing, quality, operations, or a related function
2+ years in healthcare
Experience managing performance through metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement
Strong ability to prioritize work across multiple competing demands in a fast-paced environment
Experience partnering across functions to drive execution and resolve operational issues
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience building processes, improving workflows, and strengthening operational discipline
Experience supporting or leading testing activities within QNXT or closely related operational systems
Working knowledge of QNXT workflows, impacts, and dependencies as they relate to testing, quality, and issue resolution
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare, regulated operations, or a highly structured operational environment
Experience with quality governance, audit processes, or documentation management
Experience with workflow tools, reporting tools, or database/process platforms
Experience leading change, standardization, or automation initiatives
We support a hybrid work environment. If selected and you live near a suitable work location, you may be expected to comply with the hybrid work policy. Under the policy, all hires for in-scope populations should be placed into a hybrid or office-based location, working onsite three days a week.
Aetna Service Operations office/hub locations will be discussed with the selected candidate.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,300.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
