Job Title: D365 F&O Developer

Work Setup: Hybrid – 80% Remote / 20% Onsite

Job Objective

The D365 F&O Developer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and providing Level 3 (L3) technical support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). The role ensures stable, secure, scalable, and upgrade-ready ERP operations through system enhancements, integrations, reporting, troubleshooting, deployment management, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Development and Enhancement – Design, develop, test, and maintain D365 F&O solutions using X++, extensions, and supported customization methods.
2. Production Support and Troubleshooting – Resolve complex technical incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and address system performance issues.
3. Integration and Reporting – Develop and support system integrations, APIs, data entities, SSRS reports, and automated data processes.
4. DevOps and Deployment Management – Manage source control, builds, releases, system deployments, and environment updates using Azure DevOps and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
5. Security and Compliance – Apply secure coding practices, data integrity controls, change management standards, and proper documentation.
6. Project and Stakeholder Collaboration – Support D365-related projects, review vendor deliverables, coordinate with Finance, Tax, Supply Chain, Infrastructure, and other stakeholders, and ensure effective knowledge transfer.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: At least four (4) years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations development and technical support experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in X++, Visual Studio, Application Object Tree (AOT), extensions, Chain of Command (CoC), integrations, SSRS reporting, Azure DevOps, LCS, and deployment management.
• Business Knowledge: Experience supporting Finance and/or Supply Chain processes in an enterprise environment.
• Certification: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate (MB-500), or a documented plan to obtain the certification within 12 months of appointment.
• Core Competencies: Analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, ownership, communication, collaboration, adaptability, and continuous learning.
