MID-LEVEL AI ENGINEER Siųsti CV Position - IT Department ILTE – National Development Bank is building a technical Artificial Intelligence (AI) Center of Excellence and is looking for an AI Engineer to help turn business needs into practical, reliable technology solutions. One of your first goals will be to help digitalize processes that are currently handled manually through Excel, email, or separate files, and turn them into convenient, sustainable internal applications. You will have the opportunity to work with AI, Python, Power Apps, RPA, LLMs , and other modern development and automation tools and platforms. You will have the freedom to evaluate and propose the most suitable technologies, build prototypes, experiment with different approaches, and take successful ideas all the way to production. We are looking for someone who is interested not only in implementing predefined requirements, but in understanding the underlying business need, evaluating alternatives, proposing the right technical solution, and delivering it to a high standard . What you will do build, deploy, maintain, and improve AI solutions, integrating them with the company’s information systems; develop internal applications using AI coding assistants such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar tools, as well as low-code platforms; analyze existing AI solutions, optimize and expand them, and contribute to the implementation of new AI solutions; work with business representatives, system analysts, and architects to identify opportunities for digitalization, automation, and AI adoption; develop, test, and deploy AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, NLP, and, where appropriate, machine learning models; digitalize and automate manual processes currently managed through Excel, email, or separate files by developing user-friendly internal applications; evaluate and independently propose the most appropriate technologies, platforms, and development tools for specific business needs; build prototypes and develop successful solutions into production-ready applications; ensure AI solutions align with the company’s architecture, security, quality, and reliability principles; collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and adoption of AI solutions; monitor developments in AI technology and identify opportunities for practical adoption within the organization; evaluate the performance of implemented AI solutions and initiate improvements. What we are looking for at least 3 years of experience in software development, data, automation, AI/ML solution development, or a related field, including hands-on experience building and deploying AI solutions; strong Python and SQL skills, including data processing, query optimization, and REST API development and integration; practical experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini, and AI orchestration solutions such as LangChain, RAG, or agentic workflows; experience working with cloud technologies and platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS; understanding of LLMs, NLP, embeddings, RAG, and unstructured data processing; practical software engineering experience with Git, testing, code review, CI/CD, and Docker; hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar tools, with the ability to critically review and validate AI-generated code; strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently evaluate problems, propose and justify technical solutions, and think systematically; ability to clearly explain how AI solutions work to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; understanding of AI solution quality, security, and reliability challenges, including the ability to evaluate model outputs, errors, and limitations.
