About the Role
Join a small, growing trust and estate litigation practice at an established California law firm. In this mid-level role, you will take on substantive matters with increasing autonomy, build client relationships, and help develop the team.
What You'll Do
Handle will and trust contests, breach of fiduciary duty claims, elder abuse matters, and removal actions with growing independence.
Represent trustees, executors, administrators, beneficiaries, older adults, and their families in trust and probate litigation.
Work with senior attorneys on case strategy, legal research, briefing, and trial preparation.
Build direct client relationships and support clear, thoughtful client communication.
Contribute to practice group growth and development, including mentoring junior associates.
What We're Looking For
Four to six years of trust and estate litigation experience, including direct experience handling trust litigation matters.
Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
A collaborative approach, professional integrity, and a desire to grow into a leadership role.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary range: $175,000 to $225,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
Hybrid role based in San Mateo, California.
