Position & client Our client, Toromont Cat, is a Canadian industrial company that provides equipment, power systems, and support services for industries such as construction, mining, and energy. The application is built on a Microsoft technology stack, including Azure, .NET, and an MSSQL database, and is used daily by internal staff to support core business operations. Stack of the project NextJs ReactJs .NET Core, Azure Services Supabase, PostgreSQL Responsibilities Analyze business and technical requirements to create effective test scenarios and test cases. Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing. Execute manual testing of web applications, APIs, and database-related functionality. Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects in Jira. Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases. Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure high product quality. Participate in ScrumBan ceremonies and be ready to present your work Review requirements and provide early feedback to improve product quality. Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, checklists, and test reports. Validate application behavior across different browsers and environments. Perform SQL queries to validate application data when required. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing practices. Requirements 2+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance. Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and SDLC/STLC. Experience testing web applications. Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools. Experience writing and executing test cases and test scenarios. Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira/Boards Basic knowledge of SQL and experience validating data in relational databases. Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods. Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. Familiarity with browser developer tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. English level B2 or higher. Nice to have: Basic understanding of Azure services. Experience with Azure DevOps. Experience with test management tools (TestRail, Xray, Zephyr, Azure Test Plans). Experience with version control systems (Git). Basic knowledge of automation testing. Knowledge of CI/CD concepts. Experience testing role-based access control and authentication flows. Basic understanding of performance or security testing concepts.
