Position & client Our client, Toromont Cat, is a Canadian industrial company that provides equipment, power systems, and support services for industries such as construction, mining, and energy. The application is built on a Microsoft technology stack, including Azure, .NET, and an MSSQL database, and is used daily by internal staff to support core business operations. Stack of the project .NET Core, Azure Services Angular Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications and APIs. Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements. Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing. Collaborate with developers during feature development to ensure quality is built into the product. Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects. Analyze test results and provide clear reports to the development team. Participate in ScrumBan ceremonies and be ready to present your work Continuously improve QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing practices. Maintain and enhance CI/CD testing pipelines. Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases. Contribute to improving software quality standards and engineering best practices. Requirements 4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer. 3+ years of experience in test automation. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC. Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar). Experience with UI automation frameworks such as: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium. Experience with programming languages such as: JavaScript / TypeScript, Java, C#. Experience with Git. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.). Experience testing REST APIs. SQL knowledge and database validation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good written and verbal English communication skills. Nice to have: Experience with performance testing (JMeter, k6, Gatling). Experience testing microservices. Experience testing cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, GCP). Docker knowledge. Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
