Join a fast-growing cybersecurity company building privacy and security products used by millions of people worldwide. We're a fully remote global team, and we're looking for a QA Engineer to test our web applications, websites and browser extensions.

The role combines manual Frontend and Backend testing, with a strong focus on APIs and Postman, plus AI agents to speed up testing and broaden coverage. Automation experience isn't required, but you'll be able to grow your Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript skills on real projects.

What you will do

  • Perform manual Frontend and Backend testing of web applications and websites.
  • Test APIs and Backend logic in Postman, including positive and negative scenarios, integrations, data validation and error handling.
  • Use AI agent systems across the testing process: requirements analysis, test design, test execution and defect investigation.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression and exploratory testing.
  • Analyze requirements and contribute to test planning and test coverage.
  • Use JavaScript for QA tasks, analysis and work with test scenarios.
  • Investigate defects, write clear bug reports, verify fixes and take part in root cause analysis.
  • Work closely with Frontend and Backend developers, Team Leads and Product Managers to keep product quality high.
  • Find ways to improve QA processes with AI-assisted workflows and modern testing approaches.
  • Help improve test coverage, observability and overall QA efficiency.

What we are looking for

  • 2+ years of commercial QA experience, with a strong focus on manual testing of both Frontend and Backend.
  • Solid hands-on experience with Backend testing, including APIs, integrations, business logic, error handling and edge cases.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Postman for API testing.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and the ability to apply it to QA tasks.
  • Experience using AI agent systems and AI-assisted workflows for software testing.
  • Experience testing browser extensions.
  • Experience with functional, integration, regression and exploratory testing.
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles and the ability to apply them in practice.
  • Experience creating and maintaining test documentation.
  • Confident use of Chrome DevTools, Figma, project management tools and test management platforms.
  • Experience working with developers, Team Leads and Product Managers.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to understand complex systems.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong focus on product quality and observability.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or a completed recognized QA training program.
  • Comfortable using Hubstaff for time tracking (we use it for daily time logging, not employee monitoring).

Nice to have

  • Experience with Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript test automation.
  • Experience with other test automation frameworks.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants for test automation or QA tasks.
  • Experience building AI agents or AI-powered workflows.
  • Knowledge of TypeScript or other programming languages.
  • Experience testing WordPress-based applications.
  • Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

What we offer

  • Build personal AI agents using our premium infrastructure.
  • Work remotely from anywhere within GMT+1 to GMT+5.
  • Internal R&D opportunities.
  • Paid time off and sick leave.
  • Direct impact on a large-scale global B2C product.
  • A collaborative international team.
  • Hardware after you complete probation.

If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Let's build the future of digital freedom together.
