Miniature Sculptor

The Dragon Trappers Lodge is seeking skilled and passionate miniature sculptors to join our creative team on a contract basis. This is a rare opportunity to become part of a studio known for producing high-quality, 3D-printable miniatures in the realms of fantasy and sci-fi. If you have a strong eye for detail, a firm grasp of anatomy, and love bringing dynamic creatures and characters to life, we want to work with you. About the Role As a contract sculptor with The Dragon Trappers Lodge, you’ll collaborate closely with our Sculpting Director and a seasoned team of artists to produce 32mm scale miniatures for tabletop gaming. Our sculpts emphasize semi-stylized anatomy and fantasy storytelling , with occasional sci-fi elements. You’ll work from detailed concept art to craft models that are optimized for both aesthetics and 3D printing performance. This is ongoing work , with new models each month. Most sculptors on our team complete one model per week , and we maintain clear milestones, prompt feedback, and a streamlined pipeline that keeps production fast-paced and focused. Responsibilities Sculpt high-quality 32mm miniatures in ZBrush based on provided concept art. Model both humanoid characters and creatures with anatomical accuracy and dynamic posing. Prepare clean, print-ready STL files , including keying and part separation for physical printing. Follow feedback and direction from the Sculpting Director , collaborating with other team members to ensure quality and consistency. Meet deadlines reliably while maintaining artistic standards. Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in ZBrush with a strong portfolio of miniature sculpts or relevant 3D character work. Experience preparing models for 3D printing , including hollowing, keying, and understanding wall thickness and undercuts. Solid knowledge of both human and creature anatomy . Ability to work from concept art and adapt it into a clean, printable sculpt. Professionalism in remote collaboration, communication, and time management. Compensation & Workflow Payment is per model , based on complexity and scope. Flexible, remote work schedule with weekly delivery milestones.
