The MMI Coach delivers interview preparation to UoA medical applicants, in person (campus) and online. You'll run mock MMIs, give structured personalised feedback, and coach students on communication, ethical reasoning, and critical thinking. You'll also adapt practice scenarios, manage your session schedule, and use our AI tools to support student progress. Hybrid — Auckland-based, with flexibility to work from home. Contract role.
Qualifications
• Current or recent University of Auckland medical student (or other clinical programme) with MMI Score 180+
• Strong communicator: clear explanations, active listening, constructive feedback
• Coaching, tutoring, or teaching experience highly preferred
• Familiar with MMI formats and ethical reasoning frameworks
• Flexible availability during peak admissions periods, plus occasional in-person Auckland sessions
