Location: Helsinki, Finland (Hybrid – 50% On-site / Remote)

Contract Duration: 02 Oct 2026 – 02 Mar 2027 (5 Months)

Workload: 100% (37.5 hrs/week)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Android & Web Developer for a 5-month contract assignment supporting a major client-facing UI uplift initiative for a leading financial institution in Helsinki.

Joining an established Agile feature team, you will take ownership of notification settings user interfaces across both mobile and web platforms, driving design, implementation, and deployment through the complete software lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• UI Development: Build and optimize native Android UI components and Angular-based web application interfaces.
• Full SDLC Execution: Lead feature development from architectural design through implementation, automated testing, bug fixing, and release management.
• Cross-Platform Enhancement: Upgrade client-side notification settings and user preferences across mobile and web channels.
• Agile Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, UX designers, and engineering colleagues within an Agile/Scrum delivery model.

Candidate Profile:

Core Requirements:

• Mobile Development: Proven hands-on experience with Native Android UI design and development.
• Web Development: Strong expertise in building web applications using Angular.
• SDLC Mastery: Comprehensive experience across the entire software development lifecycle in Agile environments.
• Languages: Professional fluency in English.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Backend Integration: Experience working with Java Spring Boot.
• Data Management: Knowledge of relational database integration and querying.
