About Your New Job as a Mobile Engineer

• You will contribute to their mobile applications (iOS and Android), supporting and enhancing the tools for the team.
• You will deliver high-impact features and enhancements to simplify investing and improve the customer experience.
• Develop and maintain scalable, resilient APIs that underpin core application experiences.
• Drive strong engineering practices through code reviews, test automation, and continuous improvement.
• Support app quality and reliability with a focus on automated testing, release management, and production health.
• Provide technical mentorship and share best practices with peers, fostering a collaborative engineering culture.

What Skills You Need in this job as a Mobile Engineer

• Proven front-end engineering experience using Angular, HTML, CSS, and building scalable UIs.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented design, design patterns, Angular capabilities (ngRx, signal-based stores).
• Demonstrated expertise developing responsive web and mobile apps across Angular, iOS, and Android platforms.
• Hands-on hybrid app development (Ionic, Capacitor, or similar), with understanding of native mobile concepts and APIs.
• Experience integrating native functionality (plugins, SDKs, mobile APIs).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, backend services, secure app design, authentication, and cloud-aware practices.
• Knowledge of mobile application lifecycle: optimisation, troubleshooting, release and deployment (App Store/Google Play).
• Familiarity with app health monitoring (analytics, crash reporting, observability tools).
• Proficiency in CI/CD, automated quality checks, and DevOps practices (Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, automation frameworks like Playwright).

What’s on Offer in this job as a Mobile Engineer

• Daily Rate up to €500.
• Hybrid working environment that is remote the majority of the month with one full week on-site per month.
• Good likelihood of contract extensions with an initial 12-month contract.
