Mobile Application Engineer - Netherlands market

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a Mobile Application Engineer, specializing in React Native, with a mobile-first mindset and an understanding of native development, to help drive our projects forward. As part of the Netherlands Cluster, you will play a key role in developing new features and improving the overall experience of our mobile apps for the Dutch market.

You will join our frontend team, delivering products and features end to end. Working closely with product managers, designers, backend and web engineers, and our QA team, you will contribute to a broad variety of initiatives, including taking our Bonus features and user onboarding to the next level.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Develop and maintain high-quality React Native applications for both iOS and Android

• Ensuring a smooth, engaging and intuitive user experience

• Working on apps for the Netherlands market, such as BetMGM and LeoVegas

• Improving and enhancing applications with a strong product focus

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• At least 5 years of experience as a mobile developer for Android and iOS

• Strong, hands-on experience with React Native

• Proficiency in TypeScript

• Good understanding of core JavaScript principles and concepts

• Experience with cloud integrations

• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL and version control

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience writing unit tests

• Hands-on experience optimizing mobile performance

• Experience with GitHub Actions

• Experience with Firebase

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog

• Experience with the app release lifecycle (App Store and Google Play)
