Position: Mobile Architect

Location: Remote – PST/MST/CST

Job Type: Full-Time or C2C

Important: We are looking for a Mobile Architect, not an iOS/Android Developer.

Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Architect to drive cross-platform mobile architecture, AI-driven SDLC initiatives, and large-scale engineering solutions within the Retail / E-Commerce domain.

Must-Have Technical Skills

  • Strong Swift/iOS and Kotlin/Android expertise.
  • Hands-on experience with React Native or Kotlin Multiplatform.
  • Strong mobile architecture patterns and performance optimization.
  • Experience designing offline-first mobile applications.
  • Strong mobile release engineering experience.
  • Mobile CI/CD and testing practices.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development and AI-driven SDLC.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor.
  • Strong experience designing distributed systems, APIs, data pipelines, event-driven systems, and high-scale platforms.
  • Retail / E-Commerce domain experience is mandatory.

Leadership & Architecture Requirements

  • 12+ years of software engineering experience with significant Staff/Principal-level experience.
  • Drive cross-team technical decisions, architecture direction, and multi-team initiatives.
  • Define and scale AI-driven SDLC standards, guardrails, and automation patterns.
  • Lead architecture alignment, trade-off resolution, and execution across teams.
  • Drive cross-organizational architecture and platform initiatives.
  • Conduct architecture/code reviews and mentor senior engineers.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals across code quality, testing, CI/CD, and observability.
  • Collaborate effectively with Product, Data, Security, and Infrastructure teams.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Document and scale architectural decisions and engineering best practices.
