Job Overview

SA Technologies is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Cypress, JavaScript, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality software delivery through robust automation frameworks, continuous testing, and close collaboration with development teams.

This is a remote role; however, candidates from Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Mumbai are preferred for better collaboration and timezone alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress
  

• Build and enhance automation frameworks for scalable testing solutions
  

• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for web applications (PHP-based)
  

• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
  

• Execute cross-browser testing and ensure application stability
  

• Work in Linux environments and perform basic command-line operations
  

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred)
  

• Execute SQL queries for backend data validation
  

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders for defect resolution and release readiness
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years of QA experience with strong focus on automation testing
  

• Hands-on experience with Cypress automation framework
  

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript for test automation scripting
  

• Experience working in Linux environments
  

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred)
  

• Basic understanding of SQL for backend validation
  

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API testing tools (Postman or similar)
  

• Exposure to additional frameworks/tools (Playwright, Selenium, etc.)
  

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
  

• Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
