About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Developer specializing in React Native and Expo to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and building our new digital platform, contributing actively to the development of mobile applications for both Android and iOS devices. Your expertise will help shape the future of our digital offerings, ensuring high performance, scalability, and an exceptional user experience. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, UX designers, backend developers, and QA specialists, you will oversee the entire development lifecycle—from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience developing mobile applications with React Native and Expo, preferably within digital platforms or technology-driven growth companies. A strong understanding of modern software architecture, clean code principles, API design, and performance optimization is essential. Experience working within agile teams and familiarity with DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud deployment is highly desirable. Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like Azure will be advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive mindset, high responsibility, and a passion for building innovative digital products. Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is required to facilitate effective communication within our international team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms using React Native and Expo.
- Participate actively in the architecture and technical design of our digital platform, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI designers, Backend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver a seamless user experience.
- Manage the entire engineering process, including technical conception, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing operation.
- Implement modern development standards, including automated tests, code reviews, and continuous integration, to ensure high software quality.
- Continuously analyze and optimize app performance and stability, addressing issues proactively.
- Contribute ideas for improving user experiences, development workflows, and technical architecture, and implement these enhancements.
- Utilize AI-powered tools to improve code quality, documentation, testing, and developer productivity.
- Take ownership of your solutions, providing technical support and guidance to team members when needed.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate innovative technologies into our development processes.
- Work with a tech stack that includes React Native, Expo, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure Cloud.
