Mobile QA Automation Engineer (Android/iOS | CI/CD | Quality Engineering) Requirement ID: 10827952 Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands Work Mode: Partial Remote (2 days onsite, 3 days WFH) Start Date: 31 July 2026 Duration: 6 Months Rate: Negotiable Experience: 6–8 Years Language Requirement: English Status: Open Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Mobile QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in testing mobile journeys, backend integrations, and end‑to‑end flows across native and hybrid applications. You will design and execute test strategies, build automation frameworks, validate complex backend data flows, and ensure high‑quality delivery across Android and iOS platforms. This role requires hands-on experience with mobile automation tools (Espresso, XCUITest), API testing, CI/CD integration, debugging tools, and quality engineering practices. You will work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to ensure secure, compliant, and reliable mobile experiences. Key Responsibilities Define and execute test strategies for mobile journeys, backend integrations, and end‑to‑end flows. Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Espresso (Android) and XCUITest (iOS) . Test native and hybrid mobile applications across multiple devices and OS versions. Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines . Perform API and backend validation using Postman , WireMock , and custom data flow checks. Use debugging tools such as Proxyman and Charles Proxy to analyze network traffic and troubleshoot issues. Apply shift-left testing , monitoring, alerting, and quality metrics to improve engineering practices. Validate compliance and security requirements, including regulatory checks, audit readiness, and secure transaction flows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases and continuous improvement. Required Skills & Experience 6–8 years of experience in mobile QA automation or quality engineering. Strong experience with: Espresso (Android automation) XCUITest (iOS automation) Native & hybrid mobile apps (Android/iOS) Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline integration. Strong API testing skills using Postman , WireMock , and complex backend validation. Proficiency with debugging tools: Proxyman , Charles Proxy . Solid understanding of quality engineering practices: shift-left testing, monitoring, alerting, quality metrics. Experience validating compliance, security, regulatory, and audit requirements. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in Agile environments.
