The Role

We are seeking a Mobile Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications across modern platforms. This part-time remote role is suited to an experienced engineer who can turn product requirements into scalable mobile solutions while maintaining strong performance, security, usability, and code quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mobile applications for iOS, Android, or cross-platform environments.
• Translate product requirements and UI/UX designs into reliable mobile solutions.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable application components.
• Integrate mobile applications with APIs, backend services, databases, and third-party platforms.
• Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, stability, and usability.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs and technical issues.
• Conduct testing, debugging, code reviews, and quality assurance activities.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other technical teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to development standards and best practices.
• Monitor emerging mobile technologies and recommend improvements to products and development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of professional mobile software development experience preferred.
• Strong programming skills in relevant technologies such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, Dart, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter, or other modern mobile development frameworks.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, mobile databases, authentication, and software development workflows.
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, application security, testing, and performance optimization.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote working environment.
• Professional certifications are not required unless specifically relevant to the role.
