You see the big picture, you’ve always worked on a grand scale, and now you’re ready to re-focus on grand impact.
You're all about the detail and this role will allow you to drive evidence-based decision making to optimise systems and efficiency, not just for the business but for our customers too. It's data and research with impact you can see.
In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team delivering assurance of current and future strategic, operational and freight models used across the Transport Cluster.
This role will see you test model components, assumptions, data integrity and computational accuracy, undertake scenario and sensitivity testing, build benchmark models, and prepare detailed validation reports and recommendations.
You will provide advice and guidance to model owners, developers and divisional stakeholders to improve, streamline or automate modelling assumptions and processes in a complex transport environment where modelling outcomes influence broader programs, projects and policies.

About you
Your analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder communication and transport modelling skills formed across transport planning, traffic modelling, model development and model validation will see you assess model performance, interpret validation results and communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders to lead to accurate, reliable and well-governed transport models.
You’re recognised as an analytical and collaborative professional, skilled at testing models and translating technical findings into practical recommendations, experienced in transport and traffic modelling tools and techniques, model development or validation, and software packages such as Aimsun, Visum, EMME, Sidra, Dynameq and Python programming.
