Monitoring & Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

Using PRTG and automation, you'll proactively detect issues, improve visibility, and strengthen infrastructure performance. This role is based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania with the possibility of working in a hybrid or remote setup. What you will do Manage and continuously improve enterprise monitoring platforms using PRTG Network Monitor . Configure sensors, dashboards, alerts, thresholds , and reporting to ensure system visibility . Analyze monitoring data and proactively identify performance issues and potential risks . Troubleshoot monitoring-related incidents and improve service reliability. Automate monitoring processes using PowerShell and APIs . Collaborate with infrastructure teams to enhance monitoring standards, documentation, and observability . When you fit in with us Mandatory requirements: 5 years of hands-on experience in monitoring, infrastructure, or a similar engineering role. Strong experience with PRTG Network Monitor and enterprise monitoring concepts. Hands-on knowledge of sensors, alerting, dashboards, and reporting . Proficiency in PowerShell and interest in automation. Good understanding of Windows Server, VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and networking fundamentals . Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach with strong troubleshooting skills. Fluency in English and German .
