Role Description This full-time Mortgage & Protection Advisor role is based in Vijayawada with a hybrid working arrangement, allowing some work from home alongside time in the office. The advisor will assess client needs, recommend appropriate mortgage and protection products, and guide clients through the full application and approval process. Daily responsibilities include conducting fact-finds, preparing tailored recommendations, managing documentation, and liaising with lenders, insurers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth case progression. The role involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of lending criteria and protection products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivering clear, ethical advice. The advisor will also contribute to business development activities, nurture client relationships, and support ongoing reviews to help clients meet their long-term financial goals.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of finance and mortgages, with experience advising on residential and specialist property finance.
- Skills in mortgage marketing to help communicate offerings and support client acquisition and retention.
- Expertise in financial planning and protection planning to provide holistic advice aligned with client objectives.
- CeMAP or equivalent mortgage advice qualification, or a clear pathway and commitment to obtaining it.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear, client-friendly manner.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory compliance and ethical standards.
- Proficiency with digital tools and CRM systems to manage client records and workflow efficiently.
- Prior experience in mortgage or financial advisory roles is beneficial; fluency in relevant local languages is an advantage.
