Motion Graphics Producer

Ultratype is looking for an experienced Freelance Motion Graphics Producer to work with us on animation and motion design projects.

We are looking for someone who can manage projects smoothly from the first client conversations through final delivery, acting as the main link between the client, our creative team and production.

This is a freelance, fully remote position with a lean production structure and a reasonable level of responsibility.

What you'll do

You will be responsible for the day-to-day production and client management of motion graphics and animation projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Understand client briefs, objectives, deliverables and constraints.
• Help translate each brief into a clear production plan.
• Work with the management to define project scope, budget and production approach.
• Build and manage schedules, milestones, feedback rounds and final deliveries.
• Coordinate the creative team throughout the project, including designers, motion designers, animators, illustrators, and other specialists.
• Make sure everyone has the information, references, feedback and assets they need to work efficiently.
• Act as the main day-to-day point of contact for the client.
• Organize and lead the key client production calls throughout the project.
• Participate in creative client calls alongside the creative team when needed.
• Understand the creative discussions well enough to communicate clearly between the client and the team.
• Handle client discussions around pricing, scope changes and additional requests.
• Negotiate when necessary to protect the value of the work and maintain healthy project margins.
• Identify potential scope creep and raise additional costs when appropriate.
• Consolidate client feedback and communicate it clearly to the creative team.
• Keep projects organized, on schedule and moving forward without unnecessary process.
• Anticipate production issues and solve day-to-day problems before they affect delivery.

What we're looking for

You have experience producing motion graphics, animation or design-driven content for a studio, agency or production company.

You understand the main stages of a motion design project, from concept and styleframes through storyboard, design, animation, sound and delivery.

You don't need to be a designer or animator, but you should be comfortable following creative conversations and understanding what the team and client are discussing.

You are comfortable working directly with clients and leading project calls.

You communicate clearly, professionally and efficiently.

You know how to manage client expectations, deadlines and feedback without overcomplicating the production process.

You are comfortable discussing budgets, additional costs and scope changes with clients.

You are organized, proactive and able to manage several moving parts at the same time.

You can work independently in a fully remote environment and know when something needs to be escalated.

Professional-level English is required.
