MS D365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant

Job Description

• Act as the primary point of contact for financial module-related incidents, service requests, and user queries.
• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex functional issues within D365 F&O Finance modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Project Accounting, Cost Accounting, Tax).
• Replicate issues, identify root causes, and provide timely and effective solutions or workarounds.
• Log, track, and manage support tickets using a service desk system, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
• Proactively identify opportunities for system optimization and process improvements within existing D365 F&O finance configurations.
• Perform routine system health checks and data integrity validations related to finance modules.
• Assist with the testing and deployment of hotfixes, cumulative updates, and new releases, ensuring financial functionalities remain stable.
• Support period-end and year-end closing activities from a D365 F&O functional perspective.
