Provide L2 infrastructure support for enterprise applications across Linux and virtualized environments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMware, Kubernetes, and OpenShift platforms. Develop scripts and automation to streamline operational tasks and improve system efficiency. Monitor infrastructure health, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure stable application operations. Provide L2 support for Linux servers and application infrastructure, troubleshoot OS/application issues, monitor system health, and ensure stability, performance, and security. Manage and troubleshoot VMware virtual environments and containerized applications on Kubernetes/OpenShift, including provisioning, deployment, scaling, and resource optimization. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and routine operational tasks using Shell/Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, and related tools. Resolve infrastructure and application incidents within SLAs, perform root cause analysis, implement permanent fixes, and proactively monitor and optimize system performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Nagios. Collaborate with DevOps, development, and operations teams for application deployments and infrastructure troubleshooting, while maintaining technical documentation, operational procedures, and system health reports. You have skills A Bachelor's degree or any relevant degree, with 5+ years of experience in application infrastructure support, and strong hands-on expertise in Linux system administration across Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, and similar environments. Hands-on experience with VMware/vSphere, Kubernetes, and OpenShift for VM management, application deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in Python, Bash/Shell scripting, Ansible, and Terraform, with experience automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks. Strong problem-solving skills across OS, application, container, and infrastructure layers, with experience using Prometheus, Grafana, and infrastructure monitoring best practices. It would be nice if you also had skills Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with cloud-native application and infrastructure technologies. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Puppet, and Chef for automated configuration and deployment. Familiarity with centralized logging and monitoring platforms such as ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or Splunk.
