What will you be doing? Own the backend for features end-to-end — from design and API development to deployment and monitoring in production. Build and maintain robust, scalable RESTful APIs, and continuously improve the performance and reliability of existing ones. Write clean, well-tested code, and take ownership of unit/integration tests for everything you ship. Triage and resolve production issues quickly when they come up, then get back to planned sprint work — reliability comes first. Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineers to translate requirements into solid technical solutions. Review code, share feedback, and help raise the engineering bar across the team. Bonus: if you enjoy front-end work too, there's room to contribute to our NextJS/jQuery front end. What will excite us ? An AI-first mindset toward solving problems. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in CS or a related field. Working knowledge of Python and some exposure to Django/DRF (coursework or personal projects count). Familiarity with Git and basic SQL concepts. Strong debugging instincts and comfort searching/learning independently. Good communication skills.
