Multimedia Editor & Designer

We are looking for a creative, fast-paced Video Editor & Graphic Designer who understands digital content. This role is responsible for editing long-form YouTube videos, short-form social clips, and creating graphic elements that supports the content across multiple platforms including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, and Facebook. The ideal candidate combines exceptional storytelling through editing with a strong eye for motion graphics and graphic design. They understand what makes audiences click, watch, and share content while maintaining a consistent visual brand across every platform. Key responsibilities Video Editing Edit long-form YouTube videos, interviews, and feature content. Produce engaging short-form clips optimized for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and X. Build compelling narratives through pacing, music, sound design, graphics, and storytelling. Create platform-specific edits that maximize audience retention and watch time. Deliver multiple edits daily while maintaining high production quality. Motion Graphics Design and animate lower thirds, name keys, transitions, overlays, intros, and outros. Develop motion graphics that reinforce the brand identity. Animate social assets for promotional campaigns. Create animated explainers, statistics, and sports graphics. Graphic Design Produce supporting graphics for videos and social media. Design YouTube thumbnails with a strong understanding of click-through rate optimization. Create branded templates for recurring shows and podcasts. Assist with promotional graphics for digital campaigns when needed. Content Optimization Understand YouTube best practices, audience retention, pacing, and storytelling. Work alongside producers to optimize videos for engagement and discoverability. Ensure edits align with current platform trends and viewer expectations. Collaborate with the Sr. Producer to create high-performing clips. Production Workflow Organize media, project files, and archives. Manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced virtual environment. Maintain consistency across all branded content. Assist in developing efficient editing workflows and templates. Collaborate with both the production and design teams in design optimal workflows. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro. Strong experience using Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. Working knowledge of Cinema 4D. Excellent understanding of storytelling and editing for digital platforms. Experience creating content for YouTube and social media. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines. Excellent virtual communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Experience working in news or sports media. Knowledge of YouTube Analytics and audience retention metrics. Experience editing podcasts and interview-based programming. Familiarity with color correction and audio mixing. Experience with Frame.io , Mimir or similar review platforms. Knowledge of Adobe Audition. Familiarity with Cinema 4D, Blender, or other 3D software. Experience creating viral social media content.
