This position will be responsible for designing, building, and testing software applications that enable efficient data acquisition, processing, and visualization for experimental workflows. The role involves creating robust, maintainable software tools that integrate seamlessly with laboratory instruments and research processes, ensuring high performance and reliability in a research and development environment. Responsibilities Develop software for real-time data acquisition and control of scientific instruments Design and develop interactive visualization tools that help researchers interact with data, interpret results, and support experimental workflows Develop and maintain RESTful APIs that orchestrate laboratory instrument control, workflow automation, and data processing pipelines Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization such as experts in data, research processes, infrastructure and operations to build new tools for scientific instrument control Work with a wide range of systems and technologies to own and solve problems from end-to-end Stay abreast of developments in applications development and programming languages.
