Job Summary: Our National Account Manager role is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with carrier accounts, driving growth in claims volume and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Additionally, this role provides leadership to internal team members supporting their designated accounts. Essential Responsibilities: Manage and expand relationships with carrier accounts, driving growth in claims volume and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Manage cross-functional direct reports to reach monthly closing percentage goals and targets. On assigned accounts, serve as the main point of contact for communication with insurance adjusters. Generate leads, complete warm calls, participate in virtual meetings, and prospect potential growth in assigned accounts. Participate in quarterly account reviews to review key performance indicators and identify risk and/or opportunity. Appropriately utilizing Salesforce automation tools to track progress, daily sales activities, manage pipeline, and report goals. Assign new claims to operational team members. Ensure claims are successfully managed from receipt of assignment through completion of services (i.e. obtaining approvals, monitoring ALE limits, maintaining service standards, etc.). Present options to insurance adjusters for approval and communicate information back to internal team. Problem solve when presented with barriers regarding claims and identify temporary accommodation solutions to meet both the insurance adjuster and policyholder needs. Review, interpret, and make recommendations on lease terms, contracts, and addendums to internal team and insurance adjusters regarding temporary housing needs. Oversee rates schedules and sending of booking/rate information to adjusters. Create and send summary of charges for insurance adjusters at the close of each claim. Build rapport and develop strong working relationships with customers (insurance adjusters/vendors). Address any adjuster concerns and provide guidance to team ensure superior service is consistently provided. Provide an immediate response and support for a high volume of incoming calls. Assist with special projects on an as needed basis at the directive of department manager. Support and assist with operational needs within your team and provide backup when needed. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree, strongly preferred. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a sales or service industry. 3+ years’ experience in management and/or 5+ years in team lead capacity role. Real Estate, Temporary Housing or Property Management experience strongly preferred. Strong work ethic and desire to reach and exceed claims goals. Professional, compassionate, and friendly demeanor. Problem solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Experience utilizing multiple communication channels when supporting customer needs (ie., mobile applications, text messaging, CRM systems, etc). Highly organized, resourceful and ability to pay strong attention to detail. Time management skills with the ability to manage several priorities at once. Internally motivated to achieve company objectives and personal goals. Work Environment and Physical Demands: This job operates in a fully remote environment. This role routinely uses standard equipment such as computers, phones, etc. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate in both a verbal and written manner and must have the ability to hear and verbally respond during interactions with staff and customers. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. This position is full-time. It will require a flexible schedule that may necessitate evenings/weekends with on-call responsibilities and occasional business travel.
