Position Summary:
The National Account Manager - Cuisinart is the primary contact for all sales-related issues and is responsible for the management of revenue and implementation of brand strategies and objectives across brick-and-mortar and e-commerce channels, with a focus on executing growth strategies for their assigned account(s). Accounts include but are not limited to: Belk, Lowe’s, The Home Depot, Ace Hardware, Military Exchanges, etc.
This is a remote position, but it is preferred that the candidate resides in Central or Eastern Time Zones.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present product proposals to maximize placement of Cuisinart products, partnering with retailers to understand promotional strategies.
- Monitor and manage financial tracking and POS reporting for key accounts.
- Conduct meetings with internal teams to review retailer performance and enable product and marketing strategies to drive retailer POS.
- Own P&L responsibilities for assigned programs.
- Maintain promotional calendars and co-op spending records.
- Utilize POS data and analytical tools to maximize product placement, sales, and profits.
- Monitor competitors' brands and products to understand market trends and opportunities.
- Partner with Sales Operations Manager to forecast monthly and annual shipments accurately to maintain customer and company inventories.
- Conduct regular buyer meetings and business reviews to refine inventory forecasts and promotional planning.
- Manage external Sales Representatives for select accounts, meeting with them regularly to review their retailers’ performance and needs.
- Prepare merchandising, advertising, and assortment proposals to maximize market share.
- Develop and execute joint business planning with customers.
- Lead sales presentations, business reviews, and category updates.
- Manage UPP/MAPP policies at all assigned customers.
- Prepare monthly sales reports analyzing marketplace trends and competitive activity.
- Follow internal controls and company policies.
- Contribute to the success of the company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of retail experience as a national account manager in the consumer products industry. May consider candidates with equivalent retail buying & planning experience, or combination of the two.
- Expert negotiation skills and proven success in meeting sales goals.
- Proficiency in CRM software and using IRI/Nielsen data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Highly organized and able to balance multiple accounts at once.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently from a home-office environment.
Compensation:
Conair has established a good faith salary range for this position. The salary range reflects the Company's reasonable expectation for the role at the time of posting and is based on a variety of factors including business needs, market conditions, candidate qualifications, experience, skills, and internal equity. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $150,000 annually.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in Conair's annual bonus program. This role is performed in a professional office environment and requires prolonged periods of sitting, working on a computer, and using standard office equipment.
