POSITION Mission The National Brand Manager is responsible for developing and delivering the annual brand strategy for the Canadian market. This role translates global Maison priorities into locally relevant plans that strengthen brand equity, engage consumers, and contribute to commercial performance. The Brand Manager acts as the local brand expert and works closely with Customer Marketing, Communications, Finance, Supply Chain, global Maison teams, and agency partners. The role requires strategic thinking, creativity, strong business judgment, and disciplined execution. Responsibilities BRAND STRATEGY AND PLANNING Develop the annual brand plan, defining clear priorities, objectives, initiatives, and investment choices. Translate global brand strategy and Maison priorities into relevant plans for the Canadian market. Use consumer, customer, cultural, competitive, and performance insights to identify growth opportunities. Build clear recommendations that strengthen brand desirability, relevance, and long-term equity. MARKETING AND CONSUMER ENGAGEMENT Develop integrated 360° marketing programs across consumer touchpoints, including media, digital, CRM, partnerships, public relations, experiential activations, and content. Develop clear briefs and lead agency partners from concept through execution. Ensure all programs, assets, and activations meet brand guidelines and luxury execution standards. Measure program effectiveness, capture learnings, and optimize plans. COMMERCIAL AND CUSTOMER COLLABORATION Partner with Customer Marketing to translate brand strategy into actionable market and customer plans. Provide brand direction, content, tools, and selling stories that support strong execution. Balance brand-building priorities with market realities and commercial opportunities. BUSINESS AND FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Manage the brand budget with clear prioritization, accurate tracking, and disciplined control. Lead brand performance analysis by leveraging sales, market share, consumer, competitive, and financial data to identify opportunities, risks, and strategic recommendations. Prepare regular brand performance updates, business reviews, and Maison presentations. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT Lead cross-functional projects with clear objectives, ownership, timelines, and follow-up. Build strong working relationships with Maison teams and internal stakeholders. Manage agencies, partners, and other external collaborators. Maintain high standards of communication, collaboration, and execution across multiple priorities. JOB REQUIREMENTS Please note that the position requires domestic and international travel, as well as evening and weekend work as required. Technical & Management Skills Demonstrated experience managing annual brand plans, budgets, campaigns, agencies, and cross-functional projects. Strong strategic, analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to develop clear briefs and lead agency partners from concept through execution. Ability to build, manage, and evaluate a brand budget. Project management skills, with the ability to manage several priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Other Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of four years of relevant experience in brand management, marketing, or a related commercial function. Experience in premium or luxury consumer goods, wines and spirits, beverage alcohol, or lifestyle brands is an asset. WSET Level 2 or equivalent wines and spirits knowledge is an asset. Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken. Able to travel frequently, domestically and internationally. Valid driver's license and travel document.
