Artis Senior Living is looking for a national thought leader to re-imagine resident engagement across our 26 Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. This is not a traditional activities role. It is an opportunity to build influential partnerships, translate emerging research into real-world experiences, and introduce innovations that support purpose, connection, cognitive well-being, longevity, and meaningful living.

We Are Looking Beyond Senior Living

Your experience may come from:

• • A university, research institution, or nationally recognized aging or dementia program (i.e., UCLA Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care Program)
  • Healthy aging, longevity, cognitive health, or whole-person wellness
  • Technology, innovation, or product development
  • Hospitality, academia, therapeutic recreation, or another experience-focused industry
  • Senior living or memory care, with a passion for moving engagement far beyond the traditional calendar

What matters most is your ability to build strategic partnerships, evaluate promising ideas, and turn research and innovation into practical experiences that improve residents’ daily lives.

What You Will Lead

• • Develop the national vision for healthy aging, resident engagement, and meaningful living
  • Build partnerships with universities, research institutions, technology organizations, professional associations, and evidence-based programs
  • Identify emerging research, technologies, and wellness approaches with the potential to benefit residents
  • Design pilots, measure results, and scale successful innovations across Artis communities
  • Coach and inspire community Life Enrichment leaders while strengthening quality and consistency
  • Position Artis as a forward-thinking leader in dementia care, cognitive well-being, and resident experience

What You Bring

• • Progressive leadership experience within senior living, memory care, research, wellness, recreation, education, technology, hospitality, or a related field
  • Experience building meaningful partnerships and leading innovation across multiple locations
  • The ability to translate complex research and emerging ideas into practical, scalable solutions
  • Strong communication, facilitation, project leadership, and change-management skills
  • A genuine passion for helping older adults continue to learn, grow, connect, contribute, and thrive

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience is preferred. Regular travel to Artis communities is required.
