What are we looking for?

Our Client Intake team is growing, and we are now seeking a National Intake and Assessment Manager to join our Melbourne team. This is a 12 month Contract position on a full time basis and flexible work arrangements will be considered.

The National Client Intake & Assessment Manager position is responsible for the leadership and management of the Client Intake & Assessment team and is required to exercise a high level of judgment and discretion in the delivery and execution of decisions and initiatives in consultation with the Chief Client Officer.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Responsibility for client service, experience and quality of legal advice across Client Intake and Assessment team appointments
  
• Lead, motivate, coach and drive performance and engagement across the team of client intake lawyers
  
• Partner with group leaders to design and implement legal intake guidelines
• Design and deliver innovation initiatives to improve client care and deliver improved enquiry to LCAR conversion results, including improved appointment attendance
• Take accountability for the day-to-day management of the team including as training, developmentand coaching of client intake lawyers within the team
• Ensure that exceptional enquiry recordkeeping and data quality is embedded within the team,underpinned by comprehensive Salesforce CRM note recording
• Build strong and trusting rapport with clients to deliver improved conversion and client satisfactionoutcomes
• Conduct Personal Injury new client appointments, when required, including eliciting detailed instruction and provision of accurate initial legal advice to clients and appropriate qualification of enquiries before making an appointment with a Matter Lawyer
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills to build proactive and meaningful client relationships with the support of key parties and stay abreast of changes of law and legal process
