Overview: The National Sales Representative is responsible for driving new business growth through proactive prospecting, relationship development, and consultative selling across multiple geographic markets. This role owns the full sales cycle, from identifying and qualifying prospects to closing new business and supporting a successful transition to operations. The NSR serves as a strategic partner to prospective clients, developing customized solutions that align with customer needs and organizational objectives. This is a highly autonomous, hunter-focused role that requires strong business development skills, relationship management capabilities, and a results-driven approach to achieving revenue growth objectives. Location: Candidates should ideally reside within reasonable commuting distance of a major airport, as this role requires frequent business travel. Job Duties and Responsibilities Identify, target, and pursue new business opportunities across multiple regions and industries. Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship-building activities. Research prospective clients to understand organizational structure, business needs, service requirements, and growth opportunities. Conduct discovery meetings and needs assessments to identify customer challenges and recommend appropriate solutions. Qualify sales opportunities based on customer needs, operational feasibility, profitability, and strategic fit. Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and closing. Develop and present customized service solutions that align with client objectives and organizational capabilities. Collaborate with operations and internal stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions are executable and support long-term customer success. Facilitate a seamless transition of newly acquired business to operational teams while maintaining client engagement during implementation. Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships and increase account value through additional services and solutions. Partner with Account Managers and operational leaders to support customer retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations. Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and pipeline information within CRM systems. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. Work Experience Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in business development, sales, account acquisition, or a related customer-facing role. Demonstrated success building a sales pipeline and closing new business opportunities. Experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution preferred. Experience within staffing industries preferred. Licenses/Certifications Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required. Work Environment and Physical Demands Work is performed in a combination of office, remote, and customer-facing environments. Frequent travel may be required to support business development activities, customer meetings, and industry events. Requires prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and computer use. Must be able to communicate effectively in person, virtually, and by telephone. Ability to travel independently and maintain a flexible schedule to meet business needs. Salary Range: $96,200 - $115,400 annually, depending on experience and geographic location plus eligibility for incentive pay, subject to plan terms.
