Overview : We are seeking an experienced Net Zero Cloud Administrator to support and enhance our sustainability reporting and carbon accounting platform. This role will be responsible for maintaining Salesforce Net Zero Cloud (NZC), managing carbon accounting data, supporting business stakeholders, troubleshooting platform issues, and ensuring the integrity of environmental reporting across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions. The ideal candidate will possess strong Salesforce administration expertise combined with a solid understanding of sustainability reporting, greenhouse gas accounting, and ESG data management. Key Responsibilities Carbon Accounting & Environmental Data Management Perform annual emission factor updates using the latest datasets from recognized sources such as EPA, DEFRA, IEA, and eGRID. Execute annual greenhouse gas inventory updates across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions. Create, maintain, and validate annual waste and water footprint records. Load, validate, and manage annual sustainability datasets, including: Waste data Scope 3 emissions datasets Legacy fuel and energy datasets Ensure accurate mapping of activity records to environmental footprints, including water footprint associations. Conduct quality control checks on carbon accounting data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting requirements. Salesforce Net Zero Cloud Administration & Support Manage and support manual activity data uploads when automated integrations are unavailable. Configure, maintain, and optimize Net Zero Cloud components and Salesforce platform functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve data issues, calculation anomalies, flow failures, and configuration-related incidents. Support software update deployments for Net Zero Cloud and Marketing Cloud releases. Maintain and enhance CRMA dashboards, datasets, and reporting capabilities. Automation & Custom Business Logic Management Maintain and enhance custom automations and sustainability calculations, including: Utility data prorating and calendarization logic for monthly reporting. Refrigerant loss estimation models. Vehicle mileage estimation calculations. Cost-to-fuel consumption conversion logic. Carbon allocation methodologies for stationary assets. Geographic mapping and regional assignment logic. Fuel type-to-asset mapping for vehicle and building assets. Renewable energy and Renewable Energy Credit (REC) processing logic. Business Partner & Program Support Support sustainability programs and outcome tracking, including: Decarbonization initiatives Renewable energy programs Water stewardship programs Translate business requirements into system configurations, workflows, reports, and data models. Partner with Sustainability, Finance, Supply Management, and IT teams to support ESG reporting objectives. User Access & Security Administration Manage user provisioning and deprovisioning across Net Zero Cloud and connected Salesforce environments. Maintain permission sets, roles, profiles, and security configurations. Ensure platform compliance with internal security and governance standards. Documentation, Governance & Compliance Maintain comprehensive documentation for: Data schemas Custom flows and automations Emissions calculations Emission factor sources Annual update procedures Change management processes Support internal audits and ESG reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with organizational data security policies and sustainability reporting frameworks. Quality Assurance & Validation Perform quality assurance reviews on all uploaded datasets. Validate emissions calculations following system upgrades, emission factor updates, or configuration changes. Participate in testing and release validation activities. Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications Salesforce & Technical Expertise 5+ years of Salesforce Administration experience. Hands-on experience with Salesforce Net Zero Cloud implementation and administration. Strong expertise in: Salesforce Flows and Automation Data Loader and Data Import Wizard Custom Objects and Fields Permission Sets, Profiles, and Roles Salesforce Security Model Change Management and Release Processes Experience supporting CRMA (CRM Analytics) dashboards, datasets, and data recipes. Experience troubleshooting integrations, API failures, and platform-related issues. Experience with Marketing Cloud data extensions and related data management. Sustainability & Carbon Accounting Working knowledge of GHG Protocol standards and corporate carbon accounting practices. Understanding of: Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions Emission factors and emissions calculations Waste, water, and renewable energy reporting ESG and sustainability reporting requirements Experience validating environmental and sustainability datasets. Professional Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Strong documentation and process management skills. Preferred Skills Salesforce Administrator Certification. Salesforce Net Zero Cloud Certification or equivalent sustainability platform experience. Experience supporting ESG disclosure frameworks and sustainability audits. Experience with renewable energy accounting and Renewable Energy Credits (RECs). Knowledge of sustainability reporting standards such as: GHG Protocol CDP SASB TCFD ISSB Experience working with large-scale environmental, sustainability, or ESG data programs. Familiarity with data integrations, ETL processes, and sustainability reporting systems. Ability to support cross-functional teams across multiple business units. Availability to support Eastern Time business hours and participate in occasional after-hours production support.
