Position Network Consultant (Networking and Security) Key Requirements Knowledge and minimum 5 years’ experience in the following: Manage, escalate, and drive satisfactory resolution of client's operational issues. Proactively drive security and operational best practices and various other initiatives. Liaise with 3rd Parties such as Datacenters, ISP’s and Vendors. Equipment installations, either on site or coordinate remotely. Conduct pre-implementation testing and quality assurance. Conduct assessments on both LAN & WAN, report findings and possible network solutions Respond to logged incidents and requests. Implementation of changes as per change management policy. Ensure Network uptime. Create and provide input to the following reports: Daily, Weekly & Monthly uptime reports / Capacity management reports / Other team activity reports as requested by the Team Leader Knowledge Knowledge of LAN and WAN environments Knowledge of Network security on Palo Alto, Fortinet and Cisco Knowledge of dynamic routing, high availability and redundancy Good understanding of ITIL / Service Management Vendor certifications such as CCNE, PCNSE, NSE, HPE Aruba Networking or equivalent qualifications.
