About the Role: We are currently seeking a highly motivated Network Development Specialist to support provider and vendor contracting activities in accordance with company and state guidelines. This role partners closely with internal contracting, legal, and operational teams to assist in recruiting providers, negotiating agreements, and ensuring contracts are accurately implemented and maintained as Astrana Health continues to scale. Our Values: Put Patients First Empower Entrepreneurial Provider and Care Teams Operate with Integrity & Excellence Be Innovative Work As One Team What You'll Do Drive recruitment, onboarding, and contracting of regional and national providers and vendors (PCPs, specialists, ancillary providers, etc.) in alignment with corporate, federal, and state guidelines. Manage the end-to-end contracting lifecycle, including sourcing and receiving leads, negotiations, execution, amendments, renewals, and maintenance of provider and vendor agreements in collaboration with Legal and internal stakeholders. Coordinate contract implementation and loading across assigned regions (e.g., Houston, Beaumont, San Antonio, and additional markets in the Southeast), including collection, processing, and tracking of contract and credentialing documents in partnership with centralized/shared services teams. Maintain accurate contract records, track key contract and network metrics, and support reporting, analysis, and targeting efforts to inform network strategy, performance management, and compliance. Audit executed contracts against provider records to identify discrepancies and maintain a complete, accurate, and current repository of contract status across assigned markets. Manage provider intake and inquiry workflows from initial interest through execution, coordinating with internal stakeholders to return fully executed agreements and onboard providers into the network. Partner with business/network development, and market teams to support network growth, optimization, and ongoing provider and vendor relationship management, including issue resolution and communication of contract terms. Ensure all contracting and related activities adhere to regulatory, compliance, payer, and internal policy requirements, escalating risks or variances as appropriate. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience 3–5 years of experience in healthcare contracting, contract analysis, provider relations, or a related role Working knowledge of healthcare contracting language and basic negotiation principles Familiarity with managed care environments, including State and/or Federal health programs Experience supporting contract lifecycle management, including drafting, review, and compliance tracking Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to work with contract management systems Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where the expectation is to work both in office and at home on a weekly basis. The office is located at 19500 HWY 249, Suite 570 Houston, TX 77070. The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $70,000 - $90,000. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
