Network Engineer

Network Engineer (x2) | Contract to June 2027 | Sydney (Eveleigh) | Hybrid

Libran IT is partnering with a NSW Government department on a major statewide program and is seeking two experienced Network Engineers to join the delivery team.

About the project

You'll roll out network infrastructure across 100 new sites being delivered across NSW, getting each location connected, secure and ready from day one. Hands-on, fast-moving project work with genuine statewide impact.

What you'll do

• Configure new switch infrastructure and wireless access points
• Update firewall configurations
• Set up networks for telephony, security cameras and IoT devices
• Conduct post-implementation testing and support
• Update network management systems and troubleshoot onboarding issues
• Support the wider network operations team with day-to-day incidents

What you'll bring

• 5+ years' network engineering experience
• Aruba AOS and CX switching, Airwave and IAP wireless access points
• FortiGate and/or Palo Alto firewalls
• Strong switching, routing and VLAN configuration
• ClearPass exposure (desirable)
• Self-motivated and methodical, comfortable juggling competing priorities across multiple sites

• Location: Eveleigh, approx 50:50 office/WFH
• Start: ASAP, subject to Police Check and WWCC clearance
• Required: Police Check, Working with Children Check and 2 reference checks
